In July 2022, I married the man of my dreams. I planned and coordinated our big day, and it was the best day of my life. I realized I have a knack for wedding planning throughout that process, but I also realized I could have relaxed and enjoyed the day a lot more if I had hired a wedding coordinator. When my brother-in-law married the girl of his dreams a couple months later, I offered to be their wedding coordinator to make sure my soon-to-be sister-in-law's vision came to life. The day was perfect, and it confirmed for me that I have a passion and talent for wedding coordinating.

My business is called Better Together Weddings because Better Together by Jack Johnson was my first dance song with my husband, so it holds a special place in my heart. My wedding was the best day of my life. I felt so much love, joy, and happiness; and I want to ensure every bride feels that same way on her wedding day.

My day job is as the Deputy Director of the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business, and Professional Licensing, but my passion is wedding planning. Both require extraordinary organization skills, and ability to multitask in a high pressure situation. I obtained my wedding planner certification from the IAP Career College, and I look forward to sharing all that I've learned through that education, planning my own wedding, and coordinating my brother-in-law and friends weddings with other couples looking to ensure their dreams for their special day come true.
